Our guest this week is Dmitrii Nilov, recent winner of the Concert Artist Guild International Competition! Dmitrii is only the second solo percussionist to win this prestigious competition, 15 years after his teacher Svet Stoyanov. He has collaborated with leading composers including Alejandro Viñao, Hannah Lash, and Lansing McLoskey, and recently performed Avner Dorman's double percussion concerto with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra under the baton of maestra Carolyn Kuan.
